As stated by the marks this is a French made Elgin ladies pocket watch. It is selling made in gilt metal (plated gold) with enamelled case and hand painted dial depicting a courting couple. It dates to around 1900. It still keeps time, and runs off of jewels. It's a beautiful little piece of history, and has been kept in phenomenal condition.
