One of the cutest sets I've ever had the pleasure of finding! This cute set of children's plates is decorated with illustrations from the children's book 'Twelve Gnomes and Their King' (Zwolf Zwerge und irh Konig). The artwork is by Paul Lothar Muller. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. I highly doubt this set was actually ever used except to display. There is no utensil damage to the transfers. There is a plate, a shallow bowl, a small plate and a cup and saucer, please see selling photos for sizes. All pieces are stamped with "Thomas - Germany" mark and this set dates from the 1940s.
