The glass was excavated in Afghanistan, where it was found as pieces of bottels and other household items. From the pieces of glass these wonderful beads with their rustic appearance were handcarved, so every bead is different.

Afghanistan is located on the Silk Road and was formerly known as Bactrian Kingdom.
