Overview: Up for sale is a really selling bold and excellent abstract nautical seascape oil painting on masonite board. It is signed "J. Parker" at lower right. I love the artist's use of blue, black and white and keen sense of abstractionism. Both the style and wear strongly suggest this was painted in the 1950's or 1960's. Just an amazing little piece that will look great in any art collection. Painting is framed a handsome two-toned black and white frame. Condition: The painting is in very good condition. There appears to be a spot of paint loss at lower right corner. A few minor scuffs and other imperfections. Frame has some minor scratches. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 13.75 inches wide x 5.75 inches high. Frame measures approximately 15.75 inches wide x 7.875 inches high.
