selling Beautiful vintage African Aso Oke Textile in shades of natural flax cotton and deep red. Listing is for the fabric second from the top or at the bottom of the photo with multiple textiles.
Beautiful flax color with small red stripes plus a surface looped thread and eyelet details. Very good vintage condition. Aso Oke, or Asoke, are ceremonial textiles from Yoruba, Africa.

This type of celebratory cloth is often repurposed into designer pillow covers. Woven in narrow strips that are joined to make one larger cloth.

Measures approximately 78/79 inches long x 29 OR 25 inches wide at time of listing. Please select available width.

A hand crafted piece of African Aso Oke cloth like this will make one of a kind accent pillow covers, or use for upholstery, or on the foot of a bed. Crisp cotton hand. Good medium weight with eyelet details and surface loops.

***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African cloth has minimal wear-n-tear.
