Orchid Watercolor Art Painting Red Violet Phalaenopsis Moth Orchids on Dark Colorful Background Orchid Grower Mother's Day selling Birthday Gift

A spray of striped red-violet phalaenopsis, or moth, orchids are featured in this original watercolor painting. Stripes on the orchids were made with a colored pencil and/or impressed lines. The painting has a dark multicolor background to let the orchids stand out. The artwork measures 8" x 10" on 9" x 11" paper so it has a narrow white border around the painting. This was a demonstration painting for my adult watercolor classes to demonstrate painting dark backgrounds and using impressed lines.
