Large 11" round Ruby Red Moon and Stars pedestal compote by LE Smith. Vintage 1960s pattern footed bowl is coupe shaped with a slightly rolled scalloped rim. The deeply textured glass is on the outside of the comport and the inside is smooth and deeply polished. This piece was crafted in a 4-part mold. Scarce, oversized compote is great for a countertop fruit bowl or dining centerpiece. Measurements: - 11 1/8" diameter selling - 7 1/4" height - 5+ lbs. Excellent - lustrous, clean and clear glass; no chips or cracks or deep scratching. This is a vintage item and may have some very faint scratches I missed.
