This handmade original design stained glass mosaic panel features a side view of a beautiful Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio glaucus) amongst a colorful garden of daisy flower blossoms. This image is based on butterflies that regularly visit our hobby farm gardens.

It is created using hand-cut transparent and translucent stained glass which is adhered to a sheet of clear glass. Hand-painted detail has been applied to the backside of the flower pieces and butterfly wings Once dried the image was then grouted using charcoal-colored grout and permanently mounted in a repurposed vintage solid wood frame ( 11 1/2" x 9 1/2"- measured selling to frame outer edge).
