It does look black in the pictures but definitely midnight blue.
Dark blue face with raised white numerals and silver bezel.
Silver bezel unmarked.
The clock is in fantastic original condition, unmarked, quite amazing for a clock of this age.
The original electric movement has been changed for a new, very quiet, German made quartz battery movement.
The movement will run for well over 12 months on a single AA battery.
The original hands have been adapted, it is a little time consuming, but worth the effort, a clock with hands that do not match the original design of the clock just doesn't look right.
For authenticity I can fit a sweep second hand movement, these are top quality Seiko movements and are completely silent, these selling cost an extra £10, please message me if you want this option.
This vintage clock with this amazing look will fit comfortably in any modern or MCM decor.
