Pretty Zardozi purse peacock flora silk silver gold selling bullion metal hand embroidery vintage Indian embroidery circa 1930

selling Lovely vintage Indian purse with peacock and flowers Zardozi very well executed in vibrant coloured silks, silver & gold metallic bullion, reverse side shows an allover repeat flower lattice design in same metallic bullion work circa 1930.

Raised embroidery worked on a substantial cream velvet ground. Gold metallic braid handle, pristine cream cotton lining with two pockets inside.

This good quality pretty purse has been well taken care of. Only thing to note is some darkening of the ground fabric, due to age, this is more noticeable to the reverse/the less busy side and extreme edges, see the pics. Minimal tarnish to the gold & silver embroidery, generally though all in good usable condition.
