This wine barrel staves cheese board/serving selling platter makes the perfect presentation for food or as a table display. Made from a section of 4 wine barrel top staves, from a French oak wine barrel that was harvested from a retired barrel from Napa Valley, the lines are beautiful.

The handles and the steel, are hand-forged. The handles are forged out of a 1/2" square metal bar. They are twisted to give a unique look. The metal is coated with an epoxy clear coat that protects the steel from handling and rust.
The wood it's sanded and finished with several coats of Howard's natural food-safe finish.
This makes a great house warming gift or as a holiday presentation platter a great unique conversation piece.
Please note that we recommend that your board be cleaned with a damp cloth and never submerged in water. We also suggest retreating the wood with Howard's food-safe finish, or a similar product, periodically for years of use.

It measures 20 inches long with the handles, 8.5 inches wide, it stands 2.5 inches tall.

The coloring on the stave may vary slightly from the pictures due to the grain and age of the wood.
