Antique Corkscrew with mechanism patented on March 7, 1893 in Germany by Edouard Becker from Solingen under the number 70879. Rare and very collectible corkscrew. Antique corkscrew made from steel with blackened wooden handle. Movable and sliding ring to close the cage that opens in two parts. The worm is a full point centered. Stamped on the cage head: "Columbus" on one side and "D.R. Patent N° 70879" on the other side.
Antique corkscrew with minor signs of use, as traces of rust on the metal (see pictures). In working order.
