Selling pas de deux - an ephemera collage, layered on an old book - 792

To some extent, I consider all of my art to be collage: bits and bobs, mixed and matched together. But these ephemera collages really do exemplify the style. The paper ephemera is 100% upcycled, from all sorts of places. This particular piece, "pas de deux", features vintage selling illustrations, sheet music, several greeting cards, and the heads from a pair of Zodiac-themed decorative postage stamps. They're layered on top of a midcentury blue French primer. It is titled, initialed, and dated on the back, on top of the sheet music's title.

Every piece I make is original and one-of-a-kind. Repetition is boring.
