This is a small junk journal ( 7" x 5" x 2") made from an altered book covered with upholstery fabric and embellished with ribbon, and a framed image selling of a woman. A black seam binding ribbon is attached with eyelets and ties in a bow to close the journal. Eclectic images and ephemera are used throughout, and there are 30 blank pages for journal entries. There are decorated cards and booklets tucked into the 15 pockets. Several poems, some maps, interesting vintage photos (photocopied), and excerpts from other vintage sources are included throughout the journal. The original book's title Chance Developments, which appears on one of the pages, seems most appropriate for a personal diary. An envelope is enclosed for holding your own ephemera or mementos. I believe that you will find that this unique little journal has lots of personality.
