The style is called Tiga Negri Semarangan. This batik features birds and various flowers. It has micro dots filling (Isen) all over background. The colors are light brown (as background), red, purple, and blue (on motifs)

Condition: Still in good condition as seen in picture (you may ask for more detailed pictures just send us a message).

Used to be worn as daily clothing as breast wrapper for Indonesian women especially in Java island, before the more practical western style of blouse and Indonesian kebaya became daily clothing.

A handdrawn batik is produced through labourious work, started from hand sketching, applying wax painting on each dots and strokes to resist coloring, and accordingly successive coloring processes. Each piece can take up from 1-4 months of work depending on the complexity and sophistication of the motif.
