Console and Wii remotes need to sync together by pressing the red
button under the front SD card door slot and the Sync button on the
remote after batteries are installed, found under the batterie cover on the remote.
Controller # 1 is the main controller, identified by the first blue light on the remote
after sync has been done, use remote #1 for single player use, and selecting your options.
Sync instructions are pictured.
