The measurements pertain to position in first photo. This is second largest cactus boot I have ever encountered. It is an amazing find. It was designed by nature and a bird that built a nest inside the majestic Saguaro cactus. It came from my dear Saguaro on our property that fell last year. Grief stricken I waited for months for deterioration and it gifted me with many treasures to share. It was a challenge to remove them and I am still waiting on retrieving the skeleton. These boots are truely amazing, extremely rare and all unique. This super selling sized one is amazingly still intact. In one photo you can see what it looked like before I cleaned it. They are layered with textures and are formed in many shapes and sizes. I gently cleaned them with only water.
This would be great for a stand alone display, an art project, or teaching tool. In addition, housing for your favorite small reptile!
