Triple Trunk Pygmy Palm selling 5 inches tall

Pygmy palms are small, versatile sub tropical palm trees characterized by rugged trunks that descend from an enlarged "bowl" and become increasingly slender as they approach the ground. They usually have at least two trunks, sometimes as many as five.

Pygmies are used extensively in subtropical residential and resort landscaping. In landscaping, the base is often ringed with colorful flowers but could also have anything from tropical birds to a puppy playing, a child reading, or for a humorous touch, selling an alligator.

This pygmy, planted in "mulch," is rhythmically stylized compared to my more realistic replicas, making it especially suited to artistic home decor.
