Warwick China pitcher/stein circa 1910. The pitcher stands approximately 12 3/4" tall, 6 1/4" across the base, and 4 5/8" across rim, depicting a monk with a stein of beer in his hand and seated at a table with bread, cheese, and fruit. There are small chips for this very old item as pictured. The bottom bears the knight's armored head mark with crossed swords and the banner reading "Warwick" . Above the head is the word "IOGA" (1893-1911). There ia also in red "A-1". Four mugs are included standing approximately 5” tall. These mugs have various chips as pictured, providing the character an item of this age deserves. One mug is broken at the rim and has chip at base that appears to have been colored. selling - Monk eating supper - Lady drinking beer from a large mug - Monk drinking beer at dinner (likened to the pitcher) - Friar enjoying the aroma of a flower Each mug depicts the same Warwick emblem as the pitcher. Discoloration on bottoms of mugs as well as pitcher.
