This is a wonderful set of 6 porcelain mugs made in Japan for Neiman Marcus. The mugs feature a large orange-red peony on a blue background. Above and below the peonies is a blue and gold zig zig trim pattern. The mugs are rimmed in gold and there is gold trim on the handles. The mugs were purchased in the 70s at Neiman Marcus. The bottoms are marked Neiman Marcus Japan with a rising sun symbol.
The mugs are in excellent vintage condition without chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. There is minor wear to selling the gold rims commensurate with use.
Not for the microwave, of course.
