Brought to you from our family owned shop here at JCW-personalized engraved cutting boards. Here we personally create each hardwood cutting board from beginning to end with use of the highest quality hardwoods available and a milling process that offers the best cutting boards on the market. We take pride in the overall care that goes into each board and especially enjoy having the opportunity to work together as a family and a team to create such unique products. Due to the fact that we handcraft our own cutting boards, we can sell them to your for a more affordable price.
Each cutting board is handcrafted from natural hardwoods so no two cutting boards are exactly the same. You will have your own unique one of a kind cutting board.
You can choose between Cherry/Mahogany and Cherry/Walnut-please select the wood species you would like used for your cutting board when you check out.
Sizing approximately 15.5"x10"x1.25"
The 8th picture is an example of the cherry walnut design. We can engrave the design in this picture as well if you prefer. Just let us know if the notes when you checkout.
SHIPPING
International shipments may incur a customs or duty fee, though it is rare and/or random. The responsibility for paying the duty fee is that of the buyer.
The engraving will be as shown in the above pictures with use of the same fonts
Each board is engraved, and then oiled with a food grade protective mineral oil. NO lacquers or harsh chemicals are used for our cutting boards.
Edges and corners are all smoothed for a nice overall feel
A proof will be sent before the cutting board is engraved. Please respond within two business days so your cutting board will be ready to go on time.
We would be glad to enclose a FREE note to the recipient if we are shipping the package directly to the customer. Let us know what you would like it to selling say.
PERSONALIZATION
This board can be personalized with any Initial and Anniversary Date. Please provide the Initial and Wedding/Anniversary Date in the 'Notes to the Seller' section during checkout to expedite the process.
OUR PROCESS
All of our cutting boards start out from hand selected rough cut lumber that we mill to size, cut into strips and glue to the rough shape and size of the board we then use a high quality wood glue . After the glue has dried over night, we plane to the proper width, cut to the proper size we smooth the cutting board in 7 different sanding steps. We then engrave your personalization, oil the board with Howards Butcher Block Mineral Oil to condition the wood to make sure it lasts for a long time.
MATERIALS
All the wood is hand picked but varies from tree to tree. This means the grains and knots in the wood may be slightly be different on your item. Your finished product may not look exactly like the one above but it will be unique and look amazing! Each cutting board is handcrafted from natural hardwoods so no two cutting boards are exactly the same. You will have your own unique one of a kind cutting board.
