I remember as a kid, finding long thickets of honeysuckles growing out of control along roads and in the woods.
I loved selling ripping apart the blossom to get that little drop of sweet nectar.
The beauty of the honeysuckle blossom is often overlooked. They are small and scraggly looking and thousands grow on a single bush.
In this piece, I try to capture the unique beauty of the rolled up petals before they bloom.
