The technique that I chose to use to create my work is Nerikomi.
That involves stacking, folding, pressing and combining two or
more kinds of clays colored with stains , and then slicing through the cross
section into thin layers to reveal a pattern. Different ways of cutting and
combining the colored clay will yield different patterns.
I use Japanese Translucent Porcelain to create the Nerikomi for the light. Therefore, after the pattern is combined
with the light , it creates a unique and
stunning color.
All works are handmade
and unique.

The light comes with a wood stand.
