Product code: Vintage Hull selling Pottery Woodland Pattern, Matte Glaze Ewer/Pitcher, circa 1940s, Art Pottery

This lovely ewer (or vase) was made in the 1940s by Hull Pottery Company of Crooksville, Ohio, in the Woodland pattern. This pastel-colored piece has a very soft-looking matte glaze. selling Hull replaced the matte glaze in 1950 with the much more common high-gloss glaze.

Note the wonderful twig-shaped handle! Colors are pink, green and blue on an off-white background. It is marked with the bottom with the Hull logo, W3 (for "Woodland 3"), 5 1/2" (its height), and U.S.A.

It is in excellent condition.

You'll always think of spring when you see this Woodland ewer!
