About Shiva:
Shiva is the third god in the Hindu triumvirate. The triumvirate consists of three gods who are responsible for the creation, upkeep, and destruction of the world. The other two gods are Brahma and Vishnu.
Brahma is the creator of the universe while Vishnu is the preserver of it. Shiva's role is to destroy the universe in order to re-create it.
Hindus believe his powers of destruction and recreation are used even now to destroy the illusions and imperfections of this world, paving the way for beneficial change. According to Hindu belief, this destruction is not arbitrary, but constructive. Shiva is therefore seen as the source of both good and evil and is regarded as the one who combines many contradictory elements.
Shiva is known to have untamed passion, which leads him to extremes in behavior. Sometimes he is an ascetic, abstaining from all worldly pleasures. At others, he is a hedonist.

About the idol:
This artwork is intricately molded in glass by our specialized craftsman in Firozabad, India.
Glass is a unique material for the expression of art and craft. Amongst all material, it offers the highest degree of flexibility for shaping into a wide variety of products varying in design, forms, color, and appearance.

As my idols are handcrafted and are substantially handmade, it is natural and quite understandable that there will be some minor variations in the product's features like design, color, patterns, sculpting, or dimensions. These variations actually enhance the product that you have bought from us, and make it truly “one of a kind”.


Cleaning / Maintenance:
A. Wipe with dry cloth for regular maintenance. The idols are coated to have long-lasting color & finishing.
B. If there are stains which you want to clean
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of mild dish detergent or stone cleaner and 1 gallon of warm water to a bucket.
Dip a sponge or cloth into the soapy water and wipe over the glass statue. Rinse the sponge or cloth in the bucket often.
Rinse the marble statue thoroughly to remove any residue and dry it with a towel.
