A vintage salt and pepper mill made of teak wood designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk in the selling 1960's. The body is cylindrical with wooden pegs that pull out to allow filling with salt and pepper. The lower removable peg shows some wear, see photos. Photos also include measurement in centimeters. The top and bottom rotate smoothly. An object of beauty. This rare salt and pepper mill is an early 1960's Dansk design using the original Peugeot Lion metal grinding mechanism. Stamped into the wooden base is "DANSK DESIGNS LTD DENMARK JHQ".
