THE FRUIT ARE OBLONG WITH A GREEN SKIN AND DISTINCTIVE CORKY DOTS THAT COVER THE FRUIT'S SURFACE EVEN WHEN RIPE. THEY ARE BEST HARVESTED MATURE GREEN AND RIPENED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE LIKE THE MALLIKA.
