Fitz & Floyd "Alexandria" Cups and Saucers from 1977 | Egyptian-Inspired with Winged Lion/Sphinx and Gold Accents | Golden Rimmed Dishes selling

This beautiful "Alexandria" set from Fitz & Floyd was made for only 2 years, from 1977-1978. Included are 8 cups and 8 saucers.

The saucers have a brown/gold sphinx in the center, surrounded by papyrus columns, reminiscent of ancient Egypt (hence the name "Alexandria"). The cups have the same scroll/papyrus pattern. All pieces are an off-white cream color with stunning gold rims and accent marks (seriously - the gold shines bright!).

All 16 pieces are in impeccable condition. If I didn't know they were from the 70s, I would think they're brand new. There are no problems at all to note. All paint is entirely intact. The pieces even have the original paper sticker on the bottom.

The saucers are ~5 inches across, and the cups are ~2.5 inches tall. The bottom reads "Alexandra / Fitz and Floyd, Inc / MCMLXVII / FF4 / Japan."
