Materials used to make a wreath are considered durable for moderate outdoor exposure. Caring for your wreath can provide you with several seasons if enjoyment. Wreaths are best kept out of direct sunlight, heat exposure, and harsh elements. If you are placing it outdoors, the best location is on a sheltered door that has some protection against the elements. As we all know, the sun fades EVERYTHING, so some fading should be expected if placed in direct sunlight. Using a UV protectant spray may help slow the fading. Extreme heat will cause decorations to crack or peel and foam to melt. Extreme heat will also cause florals and embellishments to loosen and possibly fall off.
Your wreath will be packaged in a shipping box which may be used for storage between seasons. There will be 2 long pipe cleaners holding your wreath in place for shipping. Please untwist these or snip them from the outside of the box to remove your wreath. Attempting to remove your wreath without untwisting or snipping the pipe cleaners will result in damage to your wreath.
Upon removing your wreath from its shipping box, it may need fluffing from its journey to you. Please round out the loops of the bow, smooth out any bent ribbons, and fluff the mesh that may have flattened during shipping.
