Santa Clara Black on selling Black Pottery Bowl by Santanita Suazo

This Santa Clara pottery bowl is a bit unusual because it has been made into a square on the top. The bottom is round as is the body, but the artist decided to square off the top. It stands 2.5" high and is 4.5" wide at the outside edges. It is signed "Santanita Suazo, Santa Clara Pueblo". Ms. Suazo was born in 1925 and passed in 2005. This pot is in nice vintage condition with no cracks or chips. It has a few slight bumps at the top, but would be usual for this age of pottery. A very nice addition to your Native American pottery collection. selling
