An incredible irregular shaped plate / bowl, glazed on the upper side, left unglazed on the underside. And both sides are gorgeous!
Made and signed by the ceramics artist Olle Måving from Arild, Sweden. According to the mark, this piece was made in 1964.
The style of the decor reminds me of Joan Miro or even selling Picasso. The whole thing feels inspired by the Nordic nature, its seashells, waves, puddles, pebbles etc.
The glaze is just amazing, so diverse there is even place for some gold!
Circa 18.5 cm x 18 cm x 4 cm.
