Zuni sterling silver butterfly brooch or selling pendant handcrafted by Native American artisan Lin Shebola. The butterfly is inlaid with mother of pearl, onyx, coral and turquoise. The black of the onyx brings the fire out of the mother of pearl shell to give the effect of butterfly wings in nature. Signed with an electric pen by the artist on the back. Verified signature.
Measures 1-¾ inches high by 1-¼ inch wide. Roll over pin closure. There is a bail attached to the back to make this into a pendant. I have shown it hanging on a silver chain for demonstration only and the chain is not included with the pin.
