Antique Ring Box , Red Leather Engagement, Wedding Ring Box, Wales

This delightful little antique ring box was made in the UK somewhere around 1940. It was made for a Jewelry shop in Swansea, Wales. It's covered in faded red leather. It has a clever little push button clasp on the front, and tiny hinge in the back. The top of the inside is lined in cream satin, and the inside base is made of black velvet, it is really gorgeous. The inside lettering is black and reads

The leather is slightly scuffed and scratched, the top of the satin is slightly worn as is the leather where the inside clasp fits but otherwise in good condition. Please note the ring is not included, it is purely for display purposes.
