Using painting knives and brushes, I created this with bold strokes of heavy-body acrylic paint.
I wanted to create an attractive texture to the painting.
I used lots of layers to give the painting quality and make it interesting to look at from a distance and up close.
I really like its impact with its boldness and contrasts and the way the light behaves with the darks and vibrant reds, blues and yellows .
