From the Scientific Library selling of 1852 this Astronomy and General Physics Considered with Reference to Natural Theology was the cutting edge of scientific and religious discourse in the middle of the 19th century, and as such has enormous scientific and historic importance. It is a hard cover book of 327 pages handsomely bound in leather and board. Sadly, the spine has suffered considerable loss of content and the remainder is held on with sticking tape. Apart from that the book is in excellent condition, all pages fine and fully attached to the binding, altogether, a very valuable book being sold at a great reduction due to the damaged spine.
