Contains teaching reference/guide pages as well as the full-color, illustrated pages of the primers for which this book is the teacher's guide.

CONDITION: Soft cover MORE DICK AND JANE book is in very good, sturdy condition with tight binding, no rips or markings. Orange wraps are clean with only light scuffing shelf wear. Internal pages show slight tanning appropriate with age and a few minor discolorations. Front wrap shows black and white line drawing of Dick and Jane and baby (she wasn't named Sally until later editions). All pages have color illustrations in-text with Dick, Jane, Baby, Spot and parents as well as a cat and other characters. Last page, page 48 has a word list and inside rear wrap explains there are 80 different words, 68 which were introduced in the Basic Pre-Primer and 12 selling new words added. Book is tight, clean with no loose, torn or missing pages.

Height of book is 7 3/8" and width is 5 3/4". 48 pages as called for.

This rare, hard cover TEACHER'S EDITION is in fair /poor condition with a slightly loose binding (no loose pages). Missing primary copyright page, however the copyright page for the pre-primer printed in the second half of the book shows a copyright of 1936 (see photos). Some torn, missing pages; some writing, markings; tanning, age discolorations. Still a wonderful vintage teacher resource to illuminate how Dick & Jane was meant to be taught in the classroom. And it has some great illustrations!
