Available to purchase is this beautiful piece of Handwoven textile from the “Neon Vibes” line. This piece was woven on a floor loom in my studio. It features a handdyed black slub cotton weft and sparkle threads in the weft. This was handwoven using a twill weave pattern.
Warp: 10/2 mercerized cotton hand dyed
Weft: black fluffy slub cotton
Cowl measures 28.5 inches in circ and 15.5 inches wide
Machine wash/dry low heat
Handweaving and hand dyeing are slow and careful processes. There are many steps to completing each piece. From designing, to measuring, to preparing the loom, to weaving each piece, then finishing by hand.
