Val St Lambert is a Belgian crystal glassware manufacturer, which has been in operation since 1826. The Lafayette line is one of their popular lines of crystal candlesticks and they are known for their elegant and intricate design. They feature a long, slender stem that gradually flares out at the top, where the candle sits. The stem is cut in selling a diamond pattern, which reflects the light beautifully and creates a dazzling effect. The base of the candlestick is cut in a slightly flared hexagonal pattern, adding to its visual appeal. The Val St Lambert logo is acid etched on the base of each candlestick. Each candlestick is 9 1/2" high and sits on a base measuring 4 3/4" in diameter. They are both in very good overall vintage condition with no chips, cracks or cloudiness noted.
