This listing is for an antique shoulder jug by Monmouth Pottery. I'm pinning this on Monmouth even though this isn't marked on the bottom other than "USA." The fern design around the top is a dead give away.
This piece would be great anywhere you want to add a bit of Americana. Perfect for the front porch or back porch. It's a half gallon, so it's not too humongous for an open shelf in the kitchen, or an accent on the hearth. Need a doorstop?
This guy measures 10 inches tall and 5 inches diameter.
Coloring is a burnt sienna on top and beige on bottom.
No bottom mark other than USA.
Condition is appropriate vintage. There is a piece of something stuck on it (I think it's clay) selling, best seen in 3 photo: a triangle of white about a half inch from beige rim about the size of a lady bug.
