selling Late 40s but probably early 50s skirt suit. Black and white, mid weight, coarse even weave wool fabric. Fitted jacket is lined with black acetate. Jacket has long sleeves with cuffs. Shoulder pads. Cute pockets are accented with lovely natural shell buttons. Princess seaming. Jacket fastens down the front with thick, gray natural shell buttons. Skirt is unlined, has decorative seaming at the waist in the front. Back box kick pleat. Fastens on the side with a plastic button and Conmar metal zipper. Label in jacket reads, "Townley, Godchaux's New Orleans." Freshly laundered. Excellent condition.
