She had multiple items from Tanzania, Nigeria, and Kenya. So my instinct tells me it is from somewhere in the continent of Africa. To me, it almost appears Moroccan. I would love to see this bag authenticated or appraised. I have seen similar straps used on saddles but I am unsure if this is a fancy saddlebag.
