Product code: 19th Century Minton selling Style Majolica Glaze Ceramic Parrot Bird on Water Lily Bowl
This is an Antique (circa late 1800s) Minton Style Majolica Glaze Ceramic Bird (maybe a Parrot) Perched on a Red Belly Water Lily and a White Lily Flower. It's a very detailed and colorful piece. The base is a lovely celadon green. There is a "N" impressed into the base (? Minton date code) as well as the numbers "22". Measures approx. 7.5" tall, 8" wide, 5.5" deep. The oval base is 6.5" x 5". It's very heavy for it's size weighing a little over 2 1/2 lbs. Beautiful antique condition. No damage or repairs. Very light crazing as expected for age, mostly selling on the side of the water lily bowl. Please see all photos for full condition and measurements.
