Encaustic painting is a combination of Beeswax and Resin, melted and painted in many layers on a wood back board. Each layer is fused to the layer beneath with a torch or heat gun.

To care for your Encaustic piece is very simple and will last a life time. To prevent any issues, it is recommended displaying your new art piece out of direct sunlight selling and not above a wood burning fireplace.
