When looking at "Stop and Breathe", I feel that, even though it is a static picture, there is an undeniable dynamic side in the air. I can sense the dramatic power of the silence of an upcoming storm: the few seconds before the first drops of rain and thunder make their spectacular appearance on the scene.
It is an enigmatic moment, as there are rays of light that appear to push their way through the cloudy sky and stroke the somewhat desolate and dry soil. It is as if they are trying to offer some comfort and a promise of better days to come: that there is still hope, although the earth seems to turn into T.S. Elliot's Waste Land.
One can choose between two options: Stop at the Stop sign, wait and turn left or right or breathe the air and look at the endless possibilities, light, and infinity of the field which lies ahead and dive into the unknown. Either way, these decisions will turn life into an unexpected adventure.

This photograph was taken through the lens of a Stereoblind Photographer. Stereoblindness is the inability to see depth and distances, so where others see 3D, I see flat angles, layers, and geometric shapes. Where others take pictures of their surroundings, I capture overlapping frames, the little gem hidden behind mountains of figures.
