Vintage 70s era studio pottery hand thrown selling carafe with resist decoration

This distinctive stoneware carafe or decanter was hand made by a skilled potter and has an assertive, sculptural selling shape that feels great in the hand.

The glaze is a cool cream to rust red/brown with a soft matte surface. The carafe is glazed inside and out.

There is no damage to it.
