Religious Shell Art Diorama Frame/Virgin Mary/Baby Jesus/Italian/Catholic Shrine selling Souvenir/Kitschy/Oval/Dome/Handmade/Italy/Wall Art/Vintage

This is a vintage 1950s-1960s, religious, framed, shell-art picture. There is no selling label, but more than likely it was made in Italy and brought back to the states as a souvenir. The frame is diamond-shape with a scalloped edge and has an approximate measurement of .75 inches thick by 10.75 inches wide by 12.5 inches tall. It features a picture of The Virgin Mary & baby Jesus under a glass dome surrounded by various seashells created on a plywood base. The print might be of a famous painting, but I am not up on my Religious art. In any event it is in excellent condition with no missing pieces and has a hook on the back for hanging.
