Rhodochrosite on Matrix, N'Chwaning selling II, Northern Cape, South Africa

A miniature sized manganese ore bearing plate to 11mm thick covered both sides by small rhombic crystals of pale pink rhodochrosite. On one side the crystals have been coated with a manganese creating a dark grey coloured finish.
