An authentic Michel Caugant hand painted tureen in the shape of a pheasant.

Caugant was a french paté maker during 1930s. He sold luxury delicatessen in his shop in Bretagne. His son, Michel, created animal shaped tureen dishes to sell the most expensive paté. These tureens have now become very collectible.
