This is a vintage Surveying Instrument in good/fair vintage. The knob that extends the eye functions properly, but other than that, I am unsure how this item fully functions, so it is being sold as is. There are no noticeable cracks, but looking through the eye hole I do see a "line," and I am unsure if it is a scratch, Crack, or spot. The piece does have heavy wear, including scratches, rust, tarnishing, and chipped paint. The bottom piece is loose and will need to be tightened. The selling original box is included, but it has heavy wear, including dry and shedding leather, tears in the leather, spots, and chipping to the wood. There are no smoke and no pet odors, but there is a vintage/slight musk smell. Please see photos for condition and zoom in if necessary.
