The box measures 3.5" x 1.75" x 3/4", circa 1960-1970, it is a private collection from a single collector. This is a limited edition Limoges hinged trinket of a cased voline, maple wood pattern selling on the outside box, navy blue enamel color. Beaded metal work. The violin painted in light brown. On the back of the violin case handwritten Limoges France Peint Main Pierce hallmarks, with limited edition number 31/250, and this box is in perfect condition with a clasp that snaps closed securely with fittings perfectly aligned.
